The pitot probe is the sensor used by the eBee X to calculate airspeed, wind and altitude. It must be kept clean and clear of obstructions to function properly.
Often times, when operating an eBee X, you will encounter dirt, dust or excessive humidity which can affect the unit's airspeed sensor. As such it will need to be replaced. Here's a link to a video that outlines procedure:
